Our research at Cleveland Golf has indicated that one of the major contributors to missed putts is misalignment. Unlike most sports where the eyes are positioned directly behind the target, the putting stroke positions the eyes to the side of the target. Principals of optometry show that unless eyes can be positioned directly above the ball's center and on the intended target line, visual misperceptions will occur. For most golfers, the common solution for this problem is to compensate by adjusting their swing path or address position. These adjustments cause greater inconsistency in the putting address position. An inconsistent address position creates inconsistencies in the putting stroke which imparts sidespin onto the ball. All of this leads to a higher likelihood of missed putts. With the Visual Performance (VP) putters

Golf is a very popular game played by men and women. When it comes to buying a golf clubs for ladies care should be in terms of selection and matching the interest of the person.First and foremost thing is to decide on the playing preference of the women. Some women will play less during the weekends or occasionally. Some will be regularly and teams up with their partner. If the women decides to play occasionally, we can go for a cheaper set of golf clubs, preferably a second hand branded golf clubs which can procured in auction sites.I understand some may be hesitant to go for second hand clubs. But the second hand sets not necessarily a very old one. You can find even brand new ones unused in the auction sites. Also it better to go auction sites since it reflects the current trends in the market for the consumer on the price where you stand a winner if you carefully select the product. If you want to play regularly and want to buy a new one you have two alternatives. One is clones and branded clubs. Clone are clubs which are equivalent quality to the branded ones but at a cheaper prices.

Will the right pair of golf shoes make you win a golf tournament? Will it make a difference in your golf game? When it comes to golf shoes, it's not just about the looks because you could be wearing flip-flops and still score great if you're really a good golfer. But even Tiger Woods wears the right pair of golf shoes. He must and you should, too because whether you like it or not, the game of golf is all about the details. Here's why.Visit your local sporting goods store or golf shop. Ask the staff which shoes and brands of shoes experienced golfers prefer. Ask the reasons behind the preference. Brand loyalty can result from simply buying the same pair year after year or because a brand provides a unique benefit not offered by other shoes. The staff at a golf shop is ideally trained to give you direction toward a great pair of shoes. Many sporting goods stores (and even some golf shops) still sell shoes with metal spikes.

With any type of organization in preparing for an event you need to start early and running a Ladies Golf Tournament is no different. If your club or Ladies Association has a Tournament Director they will be in charge of the event. To make your event special it is a good idea to choose a theme and you can plan around this for posters, prizes and food. In a recent Ladies golf tournament a Hawaiian Luau theme was used with a colorful poster display to notify members of the event including a sign up sheet. As the day draws near entice them with colorful pictures of including different prizes that will be offered to the winners. To make this event a success you will need to delegate members to help with certain areas of your tournament. I would suggest to plan and organize committees for certain jobs to help with this tournament. One committee would be assigned to decide on and purchase of the prizes for the winners. If you have a social committee these people will be needed to help plan and arrange the food such as a brunch or luncheon. A decoration committee will help plan this around your theme also set up and clear up tables after the event if over. If you are offering extra gifts to your guest in a gift bag you will need a committee to help organize this.A Raffle is a good idea for your event to help create some enthusiasm and raise extra money for your Ladies Golf Association. Use a separate committee member to work on this event purchasing items around the theme including some golf items. This committee member will be in charge of selling tickets and also taking charge of the drawings at the luncheon.Every golfing event needs information on type of play for the tournament, rules and scorecards, so assign a special group who will handle these activities. For a smooth running golf event it takes special planning and delegated members to help make your Golf tournament an enjoyable experience for your members and their guest.

Golf is a game that is played around the world by ladies and gentlemen alike. To play the game you will need to have a set of golf clubs. A golf club is used to hit the ball across the fairway and onto the green so that you can get it into the whole.A golf club is a metal club that has a head on it that you hit the ball with. There are several different types of golf clubs available to golfers. The first kind of golf club which any golfer will want to add to their set is a wood. Woods are sticks which you apply to hit the ball very far. Such as, you might want to apply this when you are first teeing off.A wood golf club will traditionally have a larger head than another clubs as well as a longer shaft so that when you hit the ball it will receive more power and speed. This is what you want so that your ball will go further. The next golf club which you want to add to your collection are several irons.
